Innovative Document Imaging (IDI) specializes in the digitization of library, publishing companies and pharmaceutical documents. IDI maintains a state of the art document conversion facility in East Brunswick, NJ where paper documents, newspapers, maps, books, bound documents and microfilm/microfiche to image conversion services are performed. IDI’s staff is highly trained and utilizes 30 state-of-the-art scanners, including two of the Kirtas 1200 robotic book scanners (the world first robotic book scanner) to provide unsurpassed image quality at reasonable prices.
IDI’s staff includes project mangers, IS personnel and factory authorized service technicians to insure all projects are properly set up, quality controlled and completed in a timely manner. IDI specializes in digitization projects for libraries, pharmaceutical companies and has scanned over 250,000 lab notebooks in the past 4 years.
Some of our recent customers include, Rutgers University, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Schering-Plough, Princeton University, Wyeth Pharmaceutical, The Academy Awards in Hollywood, Summit Public Library, South Brunswick Public Library, Scotch Plains and Millburn Public Libraries.
Reliable storage and easy retrieval of documented information is the conerstone of a successful conversion. IDI’s goal for each project is to create digital information that is readily available for researchers. IDI’s salepeople and support teams understand records mangement and how to properly organize digital image files for easy retrieval and in many instances we perform OCR to create images that are fully text searchable. IDI can host web applications or provide a link to a site while IDI houses the images.
IDI also markets and services an exciting new line of digital micrographic and electronic book scanning products as well as digital reader printers and highly sophisticated, easy-to-use imaging software that permits you to handle all your information and documents more efficiently and profitably.
IDI provides a way to optimize the exchange of information among customers, employees, vendors, as well as commerce and content providers. IDI is an authorized reseller of Canon, Minolta, Kirtas, Image Graphics and Kodak as well as Docubase Software and Kofax image capture software.

Marty Tannenbaum • Founder
Marty Tannenbaum has been an industry leader for image system sales in the field of Records Management for the past 25 years. He is responsible for over 1,000 imaging system sales and installs as well as over 1,000 digital microfilm scanners during his career. Marty has served as President of the Garden State Chapter of AIIM. He also lead a prior company to the high honor of Top US Canon Authorized Reseller for micrographic and imaging placements as their VP of Sales from 1993-2000.

Larry Gaines • Vice President of Operations
Larry has been employed in the Records Management industry for 25 years, 24 of those years with Schering Plough Corporation. In that time, Larry held many Records Management positions, and has managed the micrographic processing laboratory. In 2001, Larry was appointed the Schering Plough Vital Records Coordinator over-seeing the Vital Records Program throughout the company and implemented Records Management programs worldwide. Larry is an active Member of the New Jersey chapter of ARMA, has served on the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Chapter of AIIM and has done numerous presentations for the Eastman Kodak Company on Digital Archiving and has presented for ARMA and AIIM on Document Imaging Technology.

John Cha • Production Manager
John has been employed by IDI since February 2002. John has been extremely successful running the IDI pharmaceutical division for lab notebooks and offsite conversions. In June, John was promoted to full production manager over-seeing all conversion projects in May 2006.

Jeffrey Paredes • Technical Services Manager
Jeffrey graduated Kean University with a Graphic Communications degree in September 2003. Jeffrey has been in charge of on-location projects for BMS and Schering as well as managing the Kirtas robotic book scanning and microfilm digitization department.

Flora Huelmo • Operations Manager
Flora has been employed with IDI since April 2005. She manages the day-to-day operations of Innovative Document Imaging. Flora is responsible for the financial tasks including Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. In addition, she manages the Human Resources, Facilities and Purchasing functions.
